The results of the awareness campaign “the Catamaran of Health 2018” are presented, the traditional appointment of dermatologists for boaters and swimmers of the Italian coasts. Thanks to the help of colleagues who actively participate in on-board visits, the “Catamaran of Health” operation annually produces an instant panoramic picture of the state of skin photo-aging of Italians, providing valuable information for the scientific community. This year’s edition also focused on raising awareness on issues related to aquatic pollution and the correct cosmetic routine, ecodermocompatible, in the marine enviroment. A real itinerant and multidisciplinary research that has as its theme the man, the sun and the sea.
